When Is The Next Bug Update?
So many bugs and some with simple fixes yet nothing but silence from PhaseOne, are they doing a Microsoft I wonder and going to let it wither?
I mean a simple to fix but important thing like when you export/convert a image or resize one for the web you lose the camera make and model in the exif.
Come on PhaseOne this was reported and acknowledged in May and here we are nearly in December, very poor by any standards!

The sense I have that that they (someone) grossly underestimated the work needed to make this a "new package". At the same time, they are falling behind with Capture One. They are most likely understaffed; not incompetent.
This is a classic example of a hardware company (in this case hardware = camera) trying to be a software company as well. The markets that they serve introduce new cameras and computer OS faster than they can keep up. Add to that bug fixes, and new features - and a undermanned company can fall behind very quickly. They clearly don't know how to test new software, another manpower intensive effort.
They really need to make a strategic decision - fall back and only support their cameras; or invest in more people and serve the larger markets well.0
