Why would you want to search for a file name by typing in all 63+ characters? Seems tedious and unnecessary.

Due to the complexity of the project, the names has to be this long
I can't believe I'm the only one who has this problem.
Can someone help me on a solution or work around?
    Kind regards

I wasn't questioning the file name length. I'm questioning your use of Media Pro and why you feel you have to type 63+ characters into a tiny search field.

Regardless of your project requirements, searching for 63+ characters is unnecessarily tedious. Maybe I'm misunderstanding your situation, but it appears that you are failing to use the main features of a Media Pro catalog. For example, if you added your project files to a Catalog Set called "My Crazy Project with Extraordinarily Long File Names," searching for the files would not be necessary.

If the structrue of your project data (which leads to the long file names) follows a hierarchy, you could transform this into a hierarchical keyword list. This allows you to search for content, not for files.
