file session corrupt

hallo, is it possible that the file session "name.col50" is corrupt? last day when i had open the session was impossible enter in the acquisition folder session that the CO5 crashed. ( I sent to you a lot of crash test...) after i trash that file session and i remake a new from name.col.40...and it worked, if I have only the .col50 is it possible meke a new one without make a new session?

  A session file (*.col*) can become corrupt. You can create a new session to create a new session file and move the image to that session (with the Finder if you can not work with the older session in Capture One).

  Another quick tip that can do away with moving or Copying the files from one session to another.
  Just open a different session in Capture One, delete the old session (col50) file in Finder and then File>New Session to the exact same location with the exact same name. Capture One will not overwrite any of the previously existing folders, just create (the now missing) COL50 file.
