    Perhaps just an crop?
A visual example would certainly help others help you.

No, not a crop! Just a thin black frame around the original processed images. As I said, the images showed up fine yesterday, as processed. Today, the images have a thin black frame. I'll post a sample later.

HOW DO I ATTACH A JPEG SAMPLE?
I DON'T SEE A BUTTON FOR ATTACHMENTS OR EMBEDDING AN IMAGE.

You can create a support case and provide a file or familiarize yourself with standard Forum features/operations through a few quick Google Searches.

Drew: this is crazy. Went to the above page. I do NOT see a " little yellow box icon" on my post or on the post page. As far as attaching an image to a post goes, I have scrolled down and do NOT see anything that says "Manage Attachments" nor do I see anything that says "Go Advanced."

    Steve,
I am sorry that you are not familiar with Message boards and their language/operation.
Unfortunately this is not the place for that education to take place.

Perhaps you can upload your image through a service such as tinypic.com and then learn what size, format and BBCode is necessary to display that image here.

Alternatively you can open a support case as we have requested in your other post and kill two birds with one stone.

Drew: I'm not looking for an education. It has nothing to do with my "not being familiar." I'm not a novice at this sort of stuff. I'm looking for the buttons and links that are specified in the page you directed me to. Those buttons and links are nowhere in sight on any pages/posts I have accessed so far. So it seems to me that the guidelines are screwy.

Secondly, I have opened a support case, but the "Attach File" link doesn't work! ... at least, not on my Safari browser. This has always been the case. I have NEVER been able to attach a sample image or screen capture when seeking Support.

So I am in a real bind here. I have a problem with sudden black frames and have no way of attaching samples because none of the clickable items on the page you directed me to show up in my posts! Please be more helpful. Your last response certainly wan't helpful at all and was even insulting.

You're completely missing my point, Drew. Size, formats, BBCodes, etc. are irrelevant. I'M NOT SEEING ANY OF THE LINKS/BUTTONS specified. No matter, I've opened a support case.

    Steve,

I don't see anywhere to manage attachments either. Nor a yellow button. I do see an "Img" button at the top of the message edit window and that provides a couple html tags between which one can post the hosted address of an external image file. Or an external link - there is also a URL button.

I'm using Windows and Internet Explorer in this instance. Other browsers may be working entirely differently. That sems to be the "standard" these days.

    HTH.

Thanks Grant. Yes, I saw the "img" buttons as well and know what they're for, but I hadn't loaded my sample images to any external hosting source. I wanted to simply attach them to my post. It always irks me when web companies, services and providers will almost always blame the user's system before looking into their own programming. So annoying. Happens all the time when I call my ISP to report No Service. The first thing they do is suspect my connection, my modem, my router, my cables and then try to take me through a totally unnecessary and lengthy process to "correct" my end of things when, in fact, the problem is at THEIR end. Yellow button indeed!! Hey Phase One, where's the Yellow Button ????
