Me too 😕
The colours look slightly different using C1 compared to Nikon Capture NX. I notice that the colour histogram of Capture NX is closer to the pattern I see on the LCD of D3.0 -

Yes the same for me - I think the problem is with the fact that the D3 supports an sRGB and an Adobe color space.
The right saturation is somewhere between the D3 Generic profile with saturation -10 and the Adobe profile plus saturation 15-20.
It would be very helpful if either:
- phaseOne would make 2 D3 profiles (1x Generic 1xAdobe) or
- I could generate my own profile and have it automatically selected with my D3 images0 -
Hello,
The D3 supports sRGB and adobe RGB colorspaces when yo are shooting Processed TIFF or JPEG, it actually does not apply to the RAW files (even though it may appear in metadata).
If you have a copy of Capture One Pro, you can use Color editor to create your own profiles.0 -
many thanks for clarification.
I will seek to get the pro version...
Nevertheless a less saturated D3 profile would probably be more what us Nikon users are used to as NX produces this.
And I always find it much easier to incrase saturation & contrast than to work in the other direction.
Best regards Plini0
