'Open' and 'Save' in C1?

I want to just open an image in Capture One, process it, then save the image in a location of my choice, WITHOUT dealing with 'Collections', 'Catalogs', etc.
Can this be done in Capture One? If so, how?

  Hi Tad,
  If, if! I understand your wish, open C1 in a session (one has to choose either session or catalog), session is the simplest, navigate to photo location, edit what you want, save eventually and exit.

  Florin is absolutely right. In case you need more explanation, this blog should give you all you need. Look for the System Folders section in particular.
  
  Note that processing or exporting in Capture One means saving your adjustments into a new file, typically a JPEG or TIFF. Your adjustments in CO8 are saved automatically.
