Odd effect in C1Pro

I am developing some files that have very dark details. I tried to select and lighten only the details, but it made those areas look fuzzy. So removed that adjustment. But when I processed it, the fuzziness was still theremin the developed file.
Processed the same in CR with no fuzziness. So removing the adjustment did not remove the efect. How can I solve this (I have a lot of work to do here.)

  Could be noise? Underexposure? Difficult to assess without examples.
  
  Because you already setup a gallery, you can paste the URL (http address) direct into a posting here, although officially you should use the URL-tag. If a URL presents the image directly, use the Img-tag here.

  Find the settings file for the raw and rename it when C1 closed and that will reset the settings for sure and then have another look.
