Performance issues in C1 9.x
We've been successfully using Capture One 7 software for many years. Unfortunately recently we made a decision to move to Capture One 9 and we found that this version has serious performance issues (memory leaks maybe?).
We are using 15 inch Macbook Pros (2015 model) with 16gb of ram and Iris gfx cards.
After opening a session with more than few pictures in it, Capture One 9 works fine for 5-10 minutes, but after that time it randomly starts freezing, showing spinning beachball and it cannot be used anymore until it's force quit and restarted.
Same thing happens every single time on different machines and with different projects.
When creating a new project it works for longer, but eventually after taking several shots it freezes too.
Ive tried repairing database, resetting settings and caches found in ~/Library. It's not machine-specific.
I feel that the newest version 9.1.1 performs _a_little_bit_ better, as on 9.0.8 spinning beachball was showing almost instantly after the project has been loaded.
Does anyone else have same problem?

I'd like to know more about your definition of 'Everyone'.

I find my old MBP 2009 (8GB, openCL not supported) fully workable. And my MBPr 2014 (16GB, with openCL) runs really smooth. I am not using DAM features. And I have not done a tethering session with the new v9.1.1 yet, but I'll do that next days.
I see spinning beachballs on my older MBP here and there, but only for a couple of seconds, and usually when context menus and similar stuff try to pop up or get populated 1st time that day. It came with El Cap, and it affects all apps I use. Affinity Photo, Photoshop and Firefox as well as Apples own apps, Mail, Calendar and Contacts. That's no problem on the newer MBP, and obviously not CO related.
In v9 I saw a serious memory issue with Canon, but that one was resolved. There are enough posts about it in this forum. I see that CO still doesn't release/re-use memory in v9.1.1 when closing and opening catalogs and sessions. Therefore I quit CO before opening another catalog or session.
Nevertheless I'm currently monitoring CO's memory usage. There are times where it takes a lot of memory and I don't understand why. But I don't have random freezes, nor do I have to force quit while working with CO.

This happens with or without OpenCL enabled - doesnt matter.
Ive created a support ticket but im still waiting for PhaseOne to get back to me - unfortunately we've got freelancers, models, photographers on site since last week and we are not able to shoot anything because of this issue.0
