Refresh Previews
If I use the 'Edit with..." option in C1 11.1.1 under Windows 10, the reurned TIF file does not automatically show in my preview images when I return to C1. Right clicking on an open image and selecting "Regenerate Previews" doesn't make it appear either, I have to select a different folder and then go back to my original for the TIF to show.
What am I doing wrong and is there a way to make the TIF appear on the return from the Edit with..." programme?

I think this is a problem with Capture One not a problem with what you are doing. I find a similar thing sometimes when I have processed files, or moved them from my Capture folder to Selects. I go to the Output or Selects folder and they are not shown there even though Finder (on the Mac) shows they are there. But they show up in the end especially if I right click the folder and choose show in Finder (again there must be a Windows version of that option). It's been happening all through version 11 if I recall.

It should appear straight away (and strangely, sometimes it does!)
