Images, stored inside the catalog folder (fully managed) are moved to the Trash collection first, when you delete them. You can go to the Trash collection and move the image you like to restore back to the All Images collection.
Images, stored outside the catalog folder (referenced) are not move to the Trash collection. When you delete such an image, you get the option to only remove the link to the image, and keep the image in its location, or you can delete the image as well. In this case you can find it in the System Trash of Windows and restore it from there.
Hope this helps.0 -

That is what I want to do, but I do'nt succeed...0 -
Maybe it is a bit different on Windows, compared to Mac (I use Mac more often). I have to take a look at it from my Windows machine.
Are you storing your image inside the catalog?
Can you explain what does not work as expected? Are the images not in the trash, or are you unable to move them?
When you deleted the image, did you get any warning message?0 -
Well, I can move the images when they are in the catalog but not in the trash, and move them where I want. But no moving possible when they are in the trash. 0 -
I deleted an internal image (fully managed). It resides in the Trash. Now I attempt to move the image from the Trash to the All Images collection.
The mouse pointer changes into a symbol of 'no entrance' (circle with diagonal line). Note a hopeful signal. But when I move the image nevertheless from the Trash to the All Images collection, and drop it there, it is moved anyway and is back in my catalog for use.

OK, it is in the section "All", and can be seen and worked but not in the folder with the other images. it works, thanks.

Hi,
I accidentally deleted a Session.
Where might it be?
I'm Window 8 Pro.
In the folder of Images, I can see a file of that name. But, right-clicking on it does not give me the option to Restore.
I can also see the Capture One folder of Settings.
But, the Session folder?
Thanks.
