Chromatica aberration correction is not correct
I have a problem with CA lens correction.
I have 14-24 Nikon lens, which I shoot at 14mm. This lens is considered the best in it's class, so I can't correct the situation by buying a new lens.
1. C1 CA correction makes the center part of an image much worse. The center part has no CA and after the correction it gets CA. So instead of perfect center and CA on edges I get very poor center and average looking edges. Fail!
2. Edges of an image are not corrected correctly. For example, I have an object on the right side of the image. Its right side has green coloring and left side is perfect. After the correction the green coloring is almost removed from the right side, but left side gets fuzzy with green color. So instead of sharp left side and CA on right side object I get fuzzy left side and average looking right side. Fail!
Other software packages work either better or much better!
May be I am missing something?
