Ricoh GRD III Support
I just purchased a Ricoh GRD III digital camera. It uses the RAW DNG standard. There are alot of RAW converters, SilkyPix, RAWTherapee and more. They all seem to do a pretty good job with the RAW files. I would rather use more of a 'mainstream' RAW converter such as CaptureOne.
I have Capture One 4.8.2 from a previous Leica M8 purchase. I know that CaptureOne has RAW support, but many users criticize CaptureOne, because they do not specifically support the Ricoh cameras.
Any advice? Does CaptureOne version 5 support these cameras? I couldn't find anything on their website.
Thanks
Brad

you mean many users of Ricoh cameras ? because I see no reasons for me for example to criticize P1 for not supporting Ricoh - I have enough other reasons already 😂[quote="Brad322" wrote:

yes, you can open .DNG file from Ricoh GRDIII in C1 v5... I just did ( downloaded from http://www.kudrys.com/files/grd3_cris/R9829112.DNG )... and probably in v4.8 too - just try it.0 -
You can open it, but the results are horrible (at least in 4.😎. For good results you need to use another one, Lightroom does do a very good job. 0
