opening p1 "raw" files in CS2
So we've processed what we were asked to, and sent the entire shoot off
to the client. Now, they want to know how they can open up the raw files
through Photoshop CS2. They don't want to install C1 software.
Is there a way to adjust and process the original pictures in bridge?
Dragging and dropping or double clicking only bring up those little tif
thumbnails.
Please advise.
Thanks.

Bobby,
Respectfully, I'm supprised you are "giving" your raw files to your clients. It seems analagous to giving them your negatives. Aside from the fact that they now have the ability to process the images to any size they might need for a future use that they probably have not paid you for, I find that few clients are photo savvy enough to make the adjustments to make a good usable image.
I assume that is why they hired your photographic skills in the first place- you take better pictures than they ever could on their own. Even with the same equipment.
You work with the raw processing software of your choice, because you like the results it gives you. Now your client wants your results but using a different tool. That seems to be their problem, not yours. If you say you use a 10mm wrench to tighten a nut, and the client is not willing to buy a 10mm wrench, but wants to use the English equvalent, their wrench will fit, but not as well and won't do the job as well. (It's not a perfect analogy, but I think you get my point).
Not trying to start a war of words here, but thought it might help you in the bigger picture.
Just my 2¢

quick question what camera did you take the pictures with?
if it's a PhaseOne digital back and Capture One was set to "IIQ RAW" (in the Files Capture Setting) Your client has no other option then to use Capture One software to view and work wit the files.0
