Use EIP with sessions only. A catalog can import existing EIP files, but it will unpack them.

The preference setting to pack on import should be avoided when using catalogs. The program should handle this gracefully, apparently it does not.

Thank you Paul. Catalogs do not support EIP at all in my experience, including import.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Aaron,

Looked into the Catalog - EIP combination. I did not came across the issues you reported.

Importing EIP, both in current location as well as inside catalog, are handled correctly with a message reminding that EIP will be unpacked.
The preference setting to pack to EIP on import is not interfering when importing to a catalog.
