I wouldn't have expected Media Pro to open on Catalina. It is a 32 bit app, and they don't work on Catalina. We were warned! If you look back at previous threads on this forum, you may see suggestions for other suitable apps.

Yup. Media Pro is dead, alas.
CameraBits are currently beta-testing Photo Mechanic Plus, which is catalog based. As a Capture One user -and fully knowing its weaknesses as well as its strengths- I've adapted to a sessions-based workflow (hoping one day I can switch to C1 catalogs) and I can't advise on the pros and cons of the Photo Mechanic Plus cataloging system. I do however use Photo Mechanic, without catalogs, for culling and have done so for ages. It's a great piece of software and their support is otherworldly good.0
