Unable to image process
I'm unable to process images & can't work out why. The the top of my editing screen a question mark & the word offline appears, but I can't seem to click it. I can edit an image but when I go to process the image I get an Event message saying Could Not Process File.
Anyone able to help?

It appears you are working with a referenced catalog not a session - is that right? If the image says it is offline, then you can work on adjustments for it, because Capture One will show you a preview of the result based on the previews it stores within the catalog. But to produce output it has to refer back to the original raw file, and apply your adjustments. Where are your raw files? Are they on a drive or folder that is not connected to your computer?

I'm actually not sure Ian. I get confused by catalogs & sessions.
A few months ago I moved a lot of things from my Mac's hard drive to an external drive. This drive is connected to my Mac all the time. I've had a look at the contents of this drive; there is numerous Capture One catalogs there but the actual Capture One app itself isn't on the hard drive - although processed images are saved to the hard drive. Would this be causing a problem?
The images I want to edit were taken after I moved drives.0 -
Hi,
I suggest your C1 application and your catalog to be on your main hard drive, while you can store your pictures on the external drive. This is the best situation.
For your "offline" pics, yon can right click on one of them and ask C1 to locate your images/folders in order to enable the process.0 -

Thanks for your reply. I think I will have to create a support case. Earlier in the year when I moved by catalogue I created a support case for this exact problem & was given the advice to locate the files. I did this & it worked, however now I can't locate the images when I right click on the images. Everything was working fine until recently.0
