Bug report - making two replies in succession

It appears I can't 'reply' twice in a row on the official bug notification.

I tried the suggested solution to the problem Re: Capture One 5.1.1 crashes on start-up with Capture One v5.1.1 Pro just displaying the splash screen, and _nothing_ else. I then replied to the suggestion on the bug report page.

I then tried out a whole swag of stuff, after going through this forum, and the knowledge base, and wanted to add that to the bug report. So, I typed out a detailed list of all the stuff I'd just tried, and the Phase One web site just spat it out into the bit bucket.

Why is the 'reply' button enabled, if I can't relpy?

    Do you mean the crash report or a support ticket?
    If it was a support ticket, perhaps it just timed out?

    If there _is_ a time-out on posting the html form in the support area, how are we to enter detailed comments? If I'd been aware of that, I wouldn't have bothered with any details.

    Please, P1, make some mention of a time-out, if it exists, so we need not waste our time providing details, only to have them thrown away by the web site.

    Alternatively, was it due to the length of my attempted "reply" on the support case? Is there a further (unstated) limit to the length of replies? My reply was roughly double the number of characters as appear in my forum post here

    In general web fill-in forms like used in support pages or many other applications, can always be a bit tricky if you need time or have to enter the story of your life. I developed the habit to write details upfront in an simple editor and copy/paste them into the web form.

    The reverse is also true. When I submit an online post - here for example - and the page stalls (server or connection too busy) I select and copy the text and enter it again 5 min. later by only pasting it, no typing necessary. A way of life online.

    Just to give you an update, Login Time-out has been increased to 40 minutes.
