Bulk editing Metadata
Using Capture One for Mac OS X (Sierra) how can I add the same Headline or notes to a group of photos? When I do a "select all" or select a series and enter a headline or comment it only goes onto the first image in the series.

Just like any adjustment, it is applied to the selected one only while making the changes.
The short way:
Select a group of images.
Make your changes in the tool.
Make sure to have 'Edit All Selected Variants' switched 'on'.
<SHIFT> + click the double arrow icon of the tool. It will be applied to all selected images.

Question from a Media Pro (not CO) user: In Media Pro, this process is easy: 1) select desired images in list or thumbnail view on the right, 2) make the entries/apply the metadata in the Media Info or Organize panel on the left. Do CO catalogs require more/different steps because of its different design? 0 -
To bulk edit metadata, select one photo, set the metadata you want to use for multiple images and then create a metadata preset for the data you are interested in copying. Then select all the images for which you want the same metadata and apply the preset. CO Help has details on how to create metadata presets. You can create as many as you need. 0
