Moving a session
In the online help, it says
I'm not sure what that means. Can anyone explain?

Tip: When moving a Session, the session subfolders should be linked relative, to assure automatic update of the link. If the link is absolute, you will loose connection to the folders when changing location.

In plain English the folders inside the Session main folder are relative to the session. However and in contrast, when you browse through the Library and select any folder on your disk, while in a session, this selected folder does not have a location related to the original session folder, hence its relation is absolute and the link to it will/may get lost when you move the session.
You can check a folders state to a session in CO7 > Library > Show Info (from the tool's header open the action menu for this option).
Tip/note: if you ever like to use additional folders in a session besides the default session folders, create that folder inside (a sub folder of) the main session folder. Next, make the new folder a session favourite. This way the folder will become relative to the session as well.0 -
Thanks, Paul. I think I get it!
