8GB Radeon RX 580

8GB Geforce 1080

8GB Geforce 1070

Does AMD work better with Capture One Pro than Nvidia? I can't afford the new $1,100 Vega.

I don't work in 10 bit color.

  My personally opinion - nVidia is and was always better than AMD (and no I'm now work for nVidia, I'm still a user!)
  For me - drivers are better than AMD
  More power and less power consumption.

  I'd go with the 580 - OCL works better on AMD

  Hello All,
  Sorry to jump on this topic, but do the the Radeon RX 560/570/580 cards work on Capture One fro GPU Acceleration? They aren't on the 'list':

  If you only use the card for C1P and you have the chance to get a not totally overpriced AMD then I would go for AMD with the better OCL performance.
  
  If you care about power consumption and heat (lets say you want to use a small itx case) then go for nvidia.
  
  Either way... all the cards you mentioned should be more then fast enough 😉
