Moving sliders = black picture ?
When I turn on hw acceleration, I always get a black picture when moving the sliders until I stop moving them, then picture pops back up. Tried reinstalling and rebooting. Anyone got an idea? Never had this issue with previous version, just installed the latest update (wanting to try the "pro" version but it seems it is still the express sony version)

nobody? really annoyed by this and it is keeping me from ordering it too :/ 0 -
Given this is primarily a User to User forum (where some Phase staff are kind enough to participate when they have time) I would suggest that you may not find a ready answer to your question.
I sounds like something to to with graphics card processing in some form since you eventually get the changed image rather than a black preview - right?
Either way I would suggest you create a Support Case with Phase and let them help you both with that question and any information you may need to change the system from Express for Sony to Pro for Sony or maybe the full Pro version.
In Capture One go to the Help menu option and you should see a link there to Capture One Support.

Yeah I did that, but it has been over 24hrs and no reply from them, which isn't exactly comforting as a possible new user. Maybe I'm asking too much but still. Strange thing is, I only got this problem after updating the software, with version < 8.3.3 I did not have this issue. 0 -
Got a reply linking me to https://www.phaseone.com/en/Search/Arti ... nguageid=1 and saying the Nvidia GTX980TI I have is not supported. I don't think is the reason for it not working, since the GTX980Ti is essentially the same card as the GTX Titan only clocked higher, they even shared the same drivers. 0 -
First, you can always revert to a previous version if the one you have now is causing issues with your system. Second, Express or Pro, it is the same package, different activation (or trial). If you run Express now, just deactivate, restart, and run the trial as Pro. Maybe this will help too:

I've got similiar problem in past on first trila of c1. The problem was in drivers.
Just install updates from here:
For AMD/ATI graphics: Catalyst Software suite 13.4 or higher http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/d ... ows+7+-+64
For NVidia graphics: NVidia Display driver version 320.18 or higher http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverRe ... 8216/en-us
Intel Iris Pro Graphics: Version 15.31.9 or higher https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Search ... rodId=3723
Depending from your video card.
If not open support case specifying video card that you are using0 -
Mine, does this too. Freakin' annoying. And, yes, I've updated the drivers.
My solution, regenerate the Preview. Right click on the image and it's towards the top.0
