How to change backup folder?
I just upgraded to the latest version of Capture One 10.1. Now, the folders don't work the same way they had in the past when importing images. Before, if I made a new session, then imported images from a CF card, the images were saved to the capture directory. Now, they land in the c:\users\myname\pictures directory. I have almost no space on my C:\ drive, so I cannot allow this drive to be used as a backup directory. I looked in preferences, but see no reference to the c:\ drive under backup drive. Instead, it lists the CF card as the backup drive. I want this to go back to the way it was--or the new version explained in such a way that it makes sense.

Surely you can just specify where you want a backup set of images from the card to be saved?
Or not save them anywhere and leave them on the card until you are ready to make a safe storage set on other media.
Just change or select the settings in the import dialogue to those that suit your needs best.0 -
I had been looking for an option to do that but didn't see it. More recently, I found it, so it isn't a problem now. Personally, I think it would be best if the system prompts the user for this instead of having a default on the c:\\ drive. I would rather take the extra step of confirming the path than losing hours trying to figure out where my files are and how to delete them before my disk fills up, then move them where they belong.
