sharpness variance
Hello all,
This is my first post, I am a new user of Capture One Pro and I have two, related questions.
1. Why is it that a (jpeg) file opened in Capture One is considerable sharper than that same file opened in Lightroom or Aperture. This is just opening the file and looking at it, no PP is done.
2. I would like to be able to show a slideshow which preserves the sharpness as in Capture One. However, whenever I import files, which were treated in Capture One, into any of the usual suspects such as iPhoto, Aperture, Bridge or Lightroom to do a slideshow the sharpness is gone and all pictures seem fuzzier. Is there a software that will produce a slideshow which preserves the sharpness displayed by Capture One?
Thank you, cheers, Bob.

I did the following: save files in Capture One in tiff format and export them (output folder). Then import in Aperture. Now use those files for slideshow. As far as I can see sharpness is preserved. Can anyone confirm these findings. Thanks, Bob. 0
