Folder Hierarchy screwed up - HELP plz!

I can only partially explain what happened: I tried to move folders within Capture One 11 and while the process was working it suddenly stopped as it was unable to locate a video. So the folders were half moved to the new location. My (certainly stupid) attemps to fix it made all worse. Worst of all I ignored the problem for a while and kept working on something else, so that restoring an old backup copy of the catalogue is not an option.
I know reattempted to fix the problem and I am halfway done, with only 2 remaining problems, for which I am asking you for help:
1.) Capture One somehow merged folders and dumped the fotos of 2 different folders in one. Fixing this works by selecting one foto, click "find" and chose the right location on the disk. Unfortunately when I click "find" on the whole folder, nothing happens. I have to find several hundert photos. Is there a way I can select a group of fotos to "group-find" them (like selecting the folder or the first of the series). I am asking and not trying, as I don't want to srew up more of my collection.
2.) One folder was found only empty (although it contains fotos). By choosing "synchronize" I managed to fill it again with the fotos, but the canges I applied to the fotos are gone. And the folder now is displayed twice in my folder hierarchy, one in the right location an one in a different location.
