Would like Process to overwrite the previous output version
New to C1 so if this is obvious, I apologize.
I like keeping a "burned" version of all of my edited selects. I've been using Sessions and adding keepers to the Selects folder. Once basic editing is complete, I process them using a couple of simple recipes. Love it.
What then happens frequently is that I'll go back and tweak some adjustments on an image I'd already processed. This creates a new (additional) image in the Output folder. I'd like it to overwrite the existing image instead. I understand this is potentially destructive, but I can deal with that. If I wanted 2 different output versions I'd just make another variant first.
Possible?
Thank you.

Not possible, unless you delete the first processed image (in the Finder for example) before you process the same image again. 0 -
Thanks for the confirmation. 0 -
This ability would be very useful to me also.

If you post a feature request with Phase One in a support case, I will put a coin in the machine too for you because I think it makes sense to have that option. 😉 0 -
I've posted this as a feature request. 0 -
I've asked for this in the past as well. I think you'll find that overwriting files is against the Phase One philosophy of being completely non destructive.
Unfortunately I don't think we will ever see this feature.0
