Sorting Issue

I'm trying to use Media Pro to do both Manual Sorting as well as sorting by capture date, filename, etc. My problem is that when I try to sort by one of the other options, I am unable to revert back to the latest instance of my manual sort. As far as I can figure, that's what the "default" sort button is for, but it just screws up my catalog to something I can't use... seemingly without rhyme or reason.

I'd like to be able to use both functions, but in my case I have to choose either one or the other. Even closing and reopening the program doesn't restore the problem! It stays the way it was last sorted (manually or otherwise), meaning there is no undo.

Is there something I'm missing or is this a bug?

  I couldn't even get it to keep the manual sorts I did.
  Once saved and reopened the catalog sorts according to the View - Sort menu settings.
  
  you might want to open a ticket with the media pro people.....
