    Hello Henry1,

Thanks for your suggestion, but that is not what I mean. I want to display the RGB values above the viewer image just as in C1 Pro 4.8 etc. As I move the mouse over the image, I want to be able to see the RGB values

Check View->Proof Profile. Set to "selected recipe".

    Many thanks!

I must admit that was not very logical, however it works.

well 😊 ... actually it is VERY logical.
C1 displays the histogram of the selected output color space (and the proof profile is simulating a certain output) and thus the RGB values are referring to the selected output. Try that in Lightroom... Lightroom doesn't even display the histogram of the actual working space.
So maybe unusual for you however one of the really great things in the architecture of C1... IMO.

This make me laugh... cause its true. Still a bug though... A bug that works logically. It should not be possible to NOT have a proof profile selected and this will be fixed in the future.

I am using version 5 as well and am not able to see the RGB values above the images. I am also not able to find "proof profile" under view? Is it hidden somewhere?

and there is no such menu: ?
    sure it's pro?
if you click on "Capture One" -> "About Capture One" what is the window telling you?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, as you guessed I didn't download the pro version. Really surprised there aren't color values in this version. I'm going to buy the pro version so now is as good as time as any.

the problem with the regular (non-pro) version is that you can't set a proof profile. As there is a bug with the rooting ("no proof profile" is selected by default) the regular version is a lame duck right now... you're working half blind.
With the next fix it should be adressed.

As to the C1 versions: there is only one version for download. You can choose either "Test" (AFAIK that must be "pro"), DB (which is like pro but without support for DSLR cameras) or "activate". When you set "activate" you enter the key - according to the key-specs either pro or non-pro is actviated.
Well, at least I think this is how it works...
In other words: in trial mode you should be able to activate the pro version, if not, contact the support or search the forum for that issue.

You're right. When you download the trial you can then select which version you want to run. All I had to do is go back and select the Pro version and there of course was everything the way you said it should be.
    Thanks again.
