Selecting images to process
When I am adjusting images from a trip or vacation I try to mark each image that I want to keep and process with a star rating. Often this is only a small subset of the photos I have taken, especially when I am out "birding" and may have 100 photos taken in sets of continuous shots and only want the best one of each grouping.
My normal process has been to mark those I want to process with a star rating and then, when I have finished, manually go through and select each one with a star rating and, when finished, process them. This is a lot of work and subject to mistakes and it would be much easier if there was some way to automatically select those with a star rating (or some other way to mark those I want to keep). Then I would not have to go through 200+ photos trying to spot every star so I can manually select it. Is there any way to do this? I could find no selection tools in C1-8, but I could easily have missed it.
Thank you.

Mike,
There are a number of ways to select images based on the star rating.
Try here as a starting point.

Or go to the Library Tab.
Open up the Filters Tool and select the star rating(s) you want.

I simply click the magnifying glass in the search box as shown below to select which images to show (in this case 5 stars)...

Note: I place my browser on the right, so this search box is in the top right of my screen. If your browser is at the bottom, the search box is at the top right of the browser.0 -
Thanks. That is even better than using the Library tab. That was exactly what I was looking for. 0
