Tools that can be used with the Local Adjustment Layer will have the option in the Tools upper right.

Thanks, Drew. That will show what can be used or not but just. Do you (or anybody) believe it could be addressed within a new realize (as far as I can see, it should be fantastic to make localize curves/levels adjustments)?

And what about external editor/plugins, any comment on that?

    Regards.

We're looking into expanding the Local Adjustment tools in the future, perhaps those suggestions will be included.
If you'd like to create a support case and enter an official feature request we would be happy to have it.

Regarding plugins, Capture One allows for plugins from other companies so if they make it, they can use it in Capture One. It is up to them. Currently only one other company, Profoto, makes a Plugin for Capture One.

    Michael,

Are you referring to the Web Contact Sheet or the Contact Sheet Print option?

For a pdf file I would think all you should need to do is install a decent quality PDF writer (they vary a lot) as a printer device and then use the Print option to print to it.

I'm not sure that a PDF output would make sense for a "Web" based contact sheet - other than as a pdf file in a web site - in which case just use the Print option.

I have not tried PDF output but it works file with XPS files - the Microsoft equivalent standard. A 'Print Device' should just be a Print Device - output to file is a perfectly valid option.

If you really want to have a pdf option in the Web Contact sheet feature you would be best to register that request with the C1 team via a support case.

As for the feature being in LR in some way - no surprise really since Adobe own both products and the PDF file concept is their version of a 'key' to world domination. 😉

DNG and ownership of the TIFF standard seem to be their equivalent approach to world domination of the digital Stills market - but only really important is someone comes along one day with a 100% proven PhotoShop beater.

    ETA:

I should have mentioned that my XPS output is, of course, on a Windows machine but I presume that there are PDF writers available for Mac to allow that route.

    ETA 2:

Apologies to the OP for following this response a long way off the original subject matter. It really should be in a separate thread.
