Just a thought, but are all settings for adjustments set to default, then set up to match your colour?

Hello Sinar, thank you for your reply. The ICC profile (in the 'Next Capture Adjustments' tab) is on 'Default'. By 'All Other' I chose for 'Copy from Last'. And 'Auto Aligment' is on. Do I miss some settings or do you mean this? I know that there are some difficult colors (for example blue, turquoise or green). But lately a lot of colors on my screen are not like they are for real. Thanks again.

    Check your Proof Profile.

    View>Proof Profile.

Hello Drew, I just checked it, it's now on 'Selected Recipe', is there a best setting for this, for example 'Adobe RGB'? Thanks in advance!

Well... "Selected Recipe" means that the the Proof Profile is reflecting the ICC profile you have set in the Selected Output Recipe. So, if that recipe has "Adobe 1998" selected the designation "Selected Recipe" would = Adobe 1998.

    Drew,

Now the subject has come up - a question that I have been meaning to ask.

If I have 2 (or more) recipes selected with a different profile for each - which one takes precedence for the display? I have always assumed the first on the selected list but is that actually correct?

(Yes I know I could experiment and come to a conclusion myself but I could still be wrong! More than likely would be ...)

The "Selected" recipe. That is, the one highlighted in orange.
Many can be present, several can be "Active". Only one can be selected.

    OK. Thanks Drew.

That's what I assumed but now and again one wonders if there may be alternative 'rules' in play.

    For recent adopters ...

Some notes for things to watch out for.

If one was working with a recipe that was NOT one of the ENABLED processes but then switched on "Show enabled only" the Selected process will default (it seems) the the recipe at the top of the Enabled list (if there is more than one recipe enabled) and is highlighted with a white bar. The white bar is used at other times as well. So basically the white bar or the Recipe name in Orange indicate which recipe is active.

One might spot this if the the Recipe Tool Window is expanded but it may be less obvious if is in collapsed mode.

As the image is re-drawn upon change of Recipe (in the above example it is not so likely to be a conscious decision to change the selected recipe in all cases I would guess) it may or may not be obvious that the change has been made. Some changes could be very subtle although the sudden appearance or disappearance of, say, a watermark or to or from a gray scale would make it obvious I would imagine! Or at least more likely to be noticed.

The concept is very powerful but there is quite a lot going on in there if you make full use of the potential of Recipes and you may find it useful to double check things rather than rushing through the screens if you have some complex requirements.

    HTH.

I think what you are seeing is the initial jpg preview from the camera and then the raw interpretation of Capture One once it has created its own preview. I think there is a setting to stop this behaviour and force C1 to wait for its own preview to be created before showing anything.
