Live View Freezes

I'm using a Canon 5D Mark IV. The camera is registered and connects fine. Connection never seems to be lost however when in live view the play will freeze. This program has been nothing but trouble. I just want to get to work and start using it and there is always an issue stopping me from doing that.

Apparently the connection is getting lost but C1 never informs me. The camera continues to show in C1 but no settings can be changed.

  Took the SD card out of the camera. Seems to be working now. So much for capturing to the card and laptop. My wish list for C1 is getting very long.

  It will not do that - defeats the object of having completely tethered control and file naming not constrained by the camera.
  
  If that is what you want set up something with a Hot Folder and have C1 monitor the folder rather than the camera. That way you could write to both internal cards a the computer as well if you feel the need.
