Asked to Activate every time 7 opens

    I think you'd best take up license issues with Phase One in a support case. They are more aware of the intricacies of licensing and activation.

    Thanks Paul, I will do that. Talked to my local rep today and he stopped by and could not figure it out. That was a sugestion he had as well.

    Sounds like a permissions issue.
    Are you on an Admin Account? Activating locally or on a Networked Account?

    Yes, I am an admin account, activating locally not network account.

    If that is the case I would suggest you run a Disk Utility Permissions Repair as again, the issue describes a permissions error.

    You can likely avoid the issue all together by renaming the Capture One application itself and then relaunching. This doesn't fix the error on the computer, it just avoids it.

    Thanks!!! Running Disk Utility and repairing permissions did it. Now it is starting up and staying activated. I had tried renaming Capture One and that did not help.
