Media Pro 1.2 release
I see version 1.2 has been released. Can I just download and install it over version 1.1 or do I need to pay for an upgrade?

The new version is simply an update. You are welcome to download and install it at no charge if you already own a license to Media Pro. 0 -
Thanks Drew. That was what I was hoping. 0 -
My first impressions of this are great - the light table is quick and very usable now.
Thanks.
It also appears more stable.0 -
I still got problems rendering pictures using Capture One as engine. I am running Windows 7 64-bit.
Thumbnails are ok, but when I doubleclick to see a fullversion of a picture, the machine is "busy" for 15-20 secs and the picture is almost completly black. Same problem with 1.0 and 1.1.0 -
My biggest problem has not been addressed in this update: Creating catalogs from folders containing large numbers of TIFF files results in Media Pro being unable to scan many of the files. After about 15 minutes of futility, it finally gives up and allows me to select each image file, one by one, and rebuild it. MP then scans the file and produces a thumbnail in about 3 seconds. So the program can scan TIFFs, but not en masse, which can make building catalogs a very tedious process.
I have submitted a support case to Phase One. Actually, it is the second such case for this same problem. Previously, they said that their engineers would look into it, but evidently, they have not or are simply unable to figure out a remedy. Too bad, as I otherwise like the software.

Hi,
it still takes about 4 seconds on a Mac 27" i5 until the full version of a picture is shown properly, that is too long. Any other software I use, is showing the picture immediately.0
