Thanks for making access to Capture One and Nikon D5 NEF files that quickly. I already noticed a bug in the ISO display settings. It seems to go wrong between ISO 64.000 und 100.000. I will submit a report on that. Adobe Camera RAW shows the right ISO setting.

    Thanks.

The Library bug is indeed gone.

    Have a nice week-end

Great, yes, the library bug has been solved. But it still looks impossible to delete catalog keywords in the keyword library tool. You can do it but the keyword suppression is not kept after closing and reopening C1, and all the unwanted and deleted keywords reappear.

Same bug here. I filed a bug report (#216399) and suggest you do the same.

Ditto - Keywords taking forever to delete, duplicates and then re-appearing after restart of C1. Aftyer v9.1, this was the one they indicated in my support case was a regression of a v9.0x fix and would be fixed asap. Well it hasn't been. Sigh....

Support advises me to perform a complete uninstall/reinstall of CO, following the instructions there : https://www.phaseone.com/en/Search/Arti ... nguageid=1

I'll try that tonight if I can.

I also dont believe the Sort problem re folders is resolved properly. Whilst the sort now works as soon as I stop and restart C1, the folders are back to unsorted. I assume others are also seeing this?

I noticed that the lens distortion correction does not work for the Fuji X-Pro2 files, no opcode correction and not even manual correction.

Probably have to do with it being preliminary support.

Most probably you are right, the problem is that with SW corrected lenses such as the 35/2 it is unusable.

I opened a support case and I got the following reply:
    "Dear customer,

We still have not the distortion correction for the Fuji x-Pro2 in Capture One 9.

You can make lens correction with every wide angle lens using LCC profile following this link: https://www.phaseone.com/en/Search/Arti ... nguageid=1.

    Phase One support"
Has anybody made a distortion correction profile using LCC with X Trans cameras? I do not think it is possible, but I hope to be wrong.

    Nope, works fine here.

Please let us know if that worked for you (and if you deleted the whole CO directory in "Application Support" in total - or just "Batch Queue"...)!

I wonder if only the full c1 OS X version 9.1.1 is having problems, I see you are on the Sony version John Doe?

Sorting is now fine, but v9.1.1 still has some issues here. I installed it after complete removal, following the given procedure. My catalogs are referenced, images on external USB disk. I remember these things used to work in the past, but maybe not since introduction of v9.

    A) After creating an LCC in an upgraded catalog, 'Enable Uniform Light' is grayed out. This does not happen with catalogs created with v9.1.1 itself, and seems to work with all catalogs upgraded from v7 and earlier. All my v9 catalogs are affected (I didn't use v9.1). LCC works when these catalogs are imported into fresh v9.1.1 catalogs. Verified with multiple catalogs.

    B) I am locating moved folders in referenced catalogs, images on USB. When I locate a folder that is not currently active, the Library removes the warning from the folder tree. But when entering the folder, all images are still marked 'offline'. Re-starting Capture One doesn't help. The only way is to do the locate again with the folder activated. Verified with multiple catalogs and folders.

    C) When starting with external USB disconnected and attaching it with Capture One and catalog open, the images are recognized as online (warning removed). But the folder in the Library folder tree remains marked with the warning sign, like being offline. Re-starting Capture One with external disk attached shows the correct state for both, folders and images. Verified several times.

    Support cases filed.

    Regards,
    Hans

It's the same version for everyone, you can select your license from the menu. Same binary whatever license you choose.

Haven't had time yet to try the uninstall/reinstall procedure.

    It works quite well here.

This update is welcome. Especially for the owners of recents cameras!

However, there are still bugs. But PhaseOne must be in "we fix now"-mode. So fill up support case, and provide log. I am pretty confident they will succeed.

My main issue is currently: poor IO performances over NAS. When I use the program for local session "on location", it's snappy. However, back home, with my pictures on a NAS, it's getting slow.
I feel my pictures are a lot of safer on a NAS rather than on external disk (with FS managed by the computers, prompt to OS errors.).

Anyone using a NAS as well can confirm my presumption ?

    Thanks
    Have a nice Sunday

Do you mean it's slower in the latest release when accessing data from the NAS or is it simply slow ?

NAS is slow, and is mostly used for storage and backup, or to access data that doesn't require to much speed as streaming media.

I would not keep session or library on a NAS to work from way it's way to slow.

You images should be backed up at least on two locations to be safe, putting them on a nas won't make them safer then on a external/internal drive. Filesystem can be corrupted on a nas, a nas CPU can fail etc.

The catalog is on an SSD, the pictures are stored on the NAS.

Actually, using small catalog, it's pretty fast, using big catalog, it's slow. So, the slowliness on the storage may not be the only issue.

Didn't work at all. I only deleted Batch Queue since I have personal presets in the other folders.

I had the same problem when I tried to remove key words from the Key Word Catalog my application crashed. However, I had no problem creating and erasing key words from a MY Key Word file. I went through everything with tech support including installing a new version of Capture One. Nothing worked. So… I figured that my Capture One Catalog was some how corrupted. I exported my primary "user collections" as new catalogs. I now am using four different catalogs without any problems. They are each much smaller than my primary Capture One Catalog that contained over 36000 image and they work much quicker. I kept my primary Capture One Catalog hoping the update would solve the problem, however 9.1.1 has not solved the problem.

Thank you to those who tried the "solution" suggested by the Phase One staff. I am not so much inclined to try it, then, and I will keep my additional and superfluous keywords, waiting for this bug to be solved. Fortunately, all my useful keywords are there and work fine.
I will inform Phase One that it doesn't work.

So you have not tried it but you are prepared to say it does not work for you?

That's an interesting philosophy to adopt if what you have written is in fact what has happened.

I will try tomorrow, but I am a little bit scarred. I hope not to loose my preferences and presets and metadata. That's why.
Did you try it once ?

When I have to do a complete uninstall/re-install, I make a backup copy of the preferences folder tree and its contents before deleting the original.

After I have re-installed Capture One, I then individually copy my presets and styles files from the backup folder to the new preferences folder. It's a bit of a nuisance, but better than having to create them all again from scratch.

Support just replied, telling me it's an old bug that should have been fixed (well, obviously not) and asking me to send them a screenshot and my keyword list. Wait&see…

Thanks Richard. That's what I will do.
