sliders like to jump back to zero
Using 7.0.2 on a 10.6.8 system with a Wacom tablet
say I wan't to add 40pts on the highlight slider I'll find it will soon reset to zero. then I have to set it again.
anyone else have this? is the wacom a problem for capture one 7? I've always found C1P really fussy with the tablet.

My guess is that the tablet drivers are out of date.
We updated the driver compatibility with Capture One 7.0.2 so we may be looking for newer drivers for your hardware.0 -
i have the latest driver from wacom dated 9/26/12, so not sure if that is it.
I don't think v7 was released before that?0 -
I have no idea if this is in any way relevant but it just might sugget some things to check.
I have a very inexpensive wireless mouse for my Windows based V6 installation and that too exhibits 'jump back' form time to time.
I'm failry sure that somehow the mouse, in normal use, is sending a double click of some sort when I 'drop' the slider in place. The additional click is accepted as a 'reset to default position' - which is often zero but could be any default value.
Taking special care with the mouse seemss to work better. Using a wired (though still inexpensive) mouse does not exhibit the problem.
I have tried with my low end Wacom tablet and that seemed to be OK with updated drivers but I don't find a lot of need to use a tablet with C1 generally so a mouse works for me. (Odd because with previous software I found it almost impossible to work with a mouse and a tablet was a must have way to operate!)
Might check the double click speed setting?

i tried adding more delay to the double click setting but I still see the sliders reseting.
i use the tablet for all applications - i find it much faster and more comfortable than a mouse. Especially using a scroll wheel on a mouse was bad for my wrist.0
