processing error

Hi I am new here and to capture one I adjusted my first image and went to the processing tab made my selections selected t.i.f.f formate and clicked the processing tab it processed and at the very end an error box came up "unable to start t.i.f.f associated application".Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

  peekay,
  
  You can either uncheck the Automatically open processed images at the Process tab
  Or change the Preferences setting for this.
  This is most often set to launch Photoshop.
