Why are you using Media Pro and not C1 ?
I've used iView Media Pro in the past so I know the app quite well. I'm wondering about why people here use it over Capture One which appears to have much the same DAM. There seems to be many problems with MP, so if you already process in C1 why bother fighting it?

Well there are a few reasons.
MP recognizes files that C1 doesn't.
In my case, MP is so much faster at rendering, scrolling, and viewing.
Sending files via email doesn't require a recipe with the cleanup afterwards. I would imagine if MP were to stay with us, it would also export to social media.0 -

Has anyone ever put together a comparison table showing which DAM features each program has? (Phase One should have done this, but after four years of ownership it appears they still don't know what they want to do with MP.)
In addition to handling different file types, I believe these features are unique to MP: Web/HTML galleries, controlled vocabularies, custom fields. More? Does C1 have Catalog Sets, Hierarchical Keywords, Batch Rename, sophisticated search?
By the way, I still use Expression Media because of the reported instability of MP. And I still use (the discontinued) Nikon Capture NX2 as my raw editor.0 -
MP is a DAM Programm " Photo and Data Management"!
C1 is only a Raw converter !
making both working together is a revolution from Phase one , for us right now its a disaster since years a go" .
Phase one are giving no high recommend to MP now ! thats way you see third party Program fulling ab the WEB. getting happy with your Work, you have to bay them all, Apple studied this strategy years a ago and announced the good Aperture on the Mark, i heard in the new keynote that the coming OSX will makes some Different " please no Icloud "! good or bad idont now just wait..

if you believe that C1 is still a good RAW Converter to your workflow you have to accept the poor DAM build inside it,
you can try in c1 to erase one Keywords from 2 or 5 Images at once 😭
