C1, 12 "Quit unexpectedly" error message

    Clicking on the red button, of course, closes the session or catalog you are working on, but doesn't actually quit Capture One like Cmd-Q does. (I expect you know that.) I have very occasionally experienced the problem you describe, but not frequently. If error logs are generated when it happens, it is worth submitting them in case it helps get to the root of the problem. If you are concerned about loss of data when this happens, I suppose you could close the catalog or session with the red button first, and then use Cmd-Q to quit the app.

    Thank you for confirming that you have experienced the error message too.
    It has not been a real problem, primarily I was curious as to whether anybody else was experiencing it.

    Yes, I have, but I would stress that it is VERY infrequent.

    You could delete the preference file and see whether this improves the behaviour.

    Update:
    What seemed like "frequently" turned out to be slightly more than 5%. When I first posted my problem, I had encountered a cluster of error messages, however when I did the Quit/Restart exercise many times, the error message came up only about 5% of the time. In retrospect, I do not know what caused the cluster but I can live with the error message, especially since it only comes up 5% of the time.
