Relocated catalogue and files - "locate" greyed out
Hi everybody,
I moved the files and the catalogue of an entire project to a long term backup harddisk. When I open the catalogue in it's new place the folder structure in the library module is gone and all the images in the browser show a question mark. I can relocate single files but not all of them in one step. That's a bit nasty for 750 files. Any idea how to do it?
Thanks

Thanks, Christian, but my problem is: In the folder tab it only says "Katalog", there is no folder structure underneath that word. 0 -
I suggest you copy the entire catalog from your backup location to your internal HDD or SDD and start it from there and tell us what you see. 0 -
Hi Paul,
I moved the whole project back to my internal HDD and nothing changed, there is still no folder structure below "Katalog". Any ideas?
Thanks
Jochen

Not exactly the same issue, but related.
When I try to move a folder what's inside another folder in my internal HD to another folder in the same HD it's not possible, I found that the only way is create a new folder inside the destination folder and then move the files to the new location.
So my question is: there is some way to move folders to relocate it? and also there are some way to rename the folders?
I organize all my pictures into folders that contain no more that 4.7 Gb because I burn DVDs as a second backup and all of the folders are name as RAW_XXXX_YYYYMMDD were xxx is a sequential number and the date is the date that the last picture that is inside this particular folder, so when I open a new folder I just name it RAW_XXXX_ and when that folder is full, that is it has 4.7 Gb, then I rename it with the proper date.
I try today to do that inside COP7 and I did not find any way to do it, so I went to the Finder and rename the folder, and then in COP7 I "Locate..." the folder but for my disappointed I need to do that with all the folders inside the renamed folder, that is frustrating.
Is there any way to do that inside the COP7?
