Capture One 4 Pro use on two computers
Hi all,
I currently have Capture One 4 (have not upgraded to Pro yet but am contemplating this).
I work on a Mac Pro 2.8 GHz quad intel machine. I am thinking about obtaining a Macbook Pro so that I can shoot tethered with my Nikon D700 when I upgrade to Pro. What are the steps I need to take in order to upgrade to Capture One 4 Pro and then to get a working version of that on both my Mac Pro and Macbook Pro. From what I am gathering, it seems like a person has to deactivate the software on one computer and then activate it on another.
My head is spinning here. Can't I just purchase the Pro upgrade and load it onto both the Mac Pro and Macbook Pro and have it work on both machines?
Thanks in advance for any input.
Dennis

I believe the license is for one computer, so if you want to run it simultaneously on two machines, you need two licenses. 0 -
A single user license is for ONE user but two computers (since most photographers has a desktop and a laptop)
If you have a license you should simply be able to activate the two computers.
If the license can not be activated for one reason or another then please create a support case by clicking on "Contact Support" on support.phaseone.com
Please let us know what error message the software reports.0
