USING MASK FREEZES C01

Hello everyone,

I'm a new user for C01 coming from Aperture.
I'v have started with C01 v10 after reeding good reviews.
But since I have started using C01 there is one problem that's bugging me.
If I'm working on an image and start using a layer and drawing a mask in it my C01 'freezes'
I'm unable to use and function of C01 for some time. My mac is still working fine during that time.
I also can see any strange memory thing.
Most off the times C01 wakes up doing al the commands I gave in 3 seconds. And than is work fine untill I have to work
with the mask again.

I this a 'normal' problem with C01?? Because i send different problem reports but never heard anything off it again.
Also I can see the probleem in other forum.

Does any of you have a solution??

Your computer may be low on resources. Swapping part of computer memory to/from disk can slow things significantly. Some issue related to graphics acceleration (hardware + OpenCL) may also be a prime suspect. If you provide system information (like OS version, RAM, free space on disk, graphics card spec), one of the experienced Mac users may be able to help.

These are my specs from my Mac

iMac 27-inch, Mid 2011
Processor: Intel Core i7 3,4 GHz
Memory: 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphic: AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB
SSD HD 500 GB with 300 GB Free Space
2d HD ( 1 TB) with Catalog on it, with 400 GB of free Space
and the Raws are placed on a external HD
