Demoirize plugin cannot install

I am using a Power Mac G5 and have PS CS2 running and have a licensed version of C1 Pro with the most recent version installed since I'm using one of the newer Canon's (1DM2N). I cannot install the Demoirize plugin AT ALL. The installer always just 'hangs\" with the spinning ball. I have to force quit. Tech support has asked me to do all sorts of things. I finally removed and re-installed PS CS2 last night after repairing permissions. Still the same problem. For some reason tech support was sure that a re-install would solve the problem. Any one with the same problem?
