Creative Vignetting
I would love if you could implement what i call creative vignetting
Lightroom 5 has got a radial filter which allow such thing and I believe a similar function in C1 would enhance our vision and creativity to the next level!
Thanks a lot for listening

At the moment, vignetting can only be centred on the whole frame or on the crop (circular or oval). But you could create the kind of effect you want with a local adjustment layer, and paint in the areas you want to darken or lighten.

Yes thanks
This is what I am currently doing, but if you would try out the new radial filter in Lr 5 you would completely understand what i mean... 😄
It s incredibly efficient and easy to be able to create even multiple off center vignetting effect which really enhance your story!
Thanks

Yes, I've been reading the LR5 reviews, but I haven't tried it yet.

I am a big fun of Focal Point, which is a plug in that creates among other things off-center vignetting mask
It would a awesome tool to have in Capture One!!

Use a layer and a very large brush with low hardness and opacity to taste. Gives you a nice way to "vignette" by reducing exposure and/or brightness of that layer (invert the mask first). 0 -

Good point HCS. I have actually used that technique or just a brush around the edges but forgot about it.
If you add some negative Clarity you can gently blur as well, etc.

Luminar allows for vignetting to be able to select the center of the vignetting. This is useful when your subject is not exactly in the center of the picture.

And only 9 years too late, Michael...
