sub-folder content
Hi guys,
I am very used to Lightroom and would love to combine Media Pro with Capture One. C1 will be in sessions and MP will collect all photo's for search and going back to C1 for edits.
I have sessions inside of a folder structure like
weddings
- wedding 1
- wedding 2
In LR it's possible to click on the weddings folder and it can show me all of the images inside that folder AND it's sub folders.
How can I do this in Media Pro?
greets, Stefan

When you are organizing with folders it's very simple: When you select one image you can see what folder it is in because it's the blue one. Click on the folder and you will see all images inside.
However, i think it's better to organize with catalog sets. One image can only live in one folder but in more catalog sets.

Hey Roelof thanks for your reply!
yeah I can click an image and see what folder it is, but i do want to see the parent folder and al of the images inside it's child folders
weddings
- wedding 1
- wedding 2
so click on weddings and see all photo's from the weddings.
You are right about catalog sets, but I want to have 1 big catalog for all of my images just like Lightroom... then browse though all of my images and make selections for export etc.
If I want to edit files I just open up the session (if that's possible with Media Pro")
Using catalogs in Lightroom was very slow, but having all of the images all together is very handy since i do a lot of shoots per day. Switching between sessions and not knowing what sessions to open (from file name) since I am a visual guy, it would be very handy to use Media Pro just for browsing through all of the photo's to quickly find the right session.
Hope I described it the right way?0 -

That is quity easy with Catalog sets:
Rightclick on the triangle next to 'Catalog Sets' and choose the option 'Catalog Sets and Subsets':

In this example you can see first there were no images visible under the selected catalog (Utility sets) and afterwards all 27190 images (only living in 'subfolders') are visible.
It also aplies on 'real' folders:
