NOTHING? NOT A WORD ABOUT THIS?

    SERIOUSLY?

    Updates? Anything?

Recently I have tried to use the Update Folder as well as the Import Folder options to add new DNG (also Nikon D300s NEF) files

one folder had 300 files but it said it scanned 220, then only shows 70

another folder had 1,500, said it scanned 150, but shows none

I have been using this software for about 18 months or so and up till a few weeks ago never had any problems

It's probably because nobody has any idea what's wrong

I'd try importing them into a new catalog and see if that works, if it does, your old catalog might be corrupt.

    Thanks
I'm also going to try reinstalling the software

Someone really needs to release an update though, lots of RAW files are not supported

Maby it's better to convert to a less legacy RAW format like DNG?

    It's not importing DNG either

As listed in the release notes, only Adobe RAW DNG is supported. Other formats that are listed with a "DNG" tag are not truly DNG format but instead a proprietary RAW with the DNG tag (Leica M9 Files for example).

    I know DNG is supported

My problem is that my Expression Media is not importing the DNG files. I plan on reinstalling the software, as soon as I have the time.

    Hi,
I am trying out EM, but when I import files/folders I get an "Importing" message, but then the status bar just says "Empty catalogue", and shows no files.

    Window 7 64bit.

    Not a very promising start!

    Any suggestions much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    John

Can you open this test catalog and see the images inside?
