Adding tools to local adjustments
Specifically Levels and Curves.
Just upgraded to 8 from 7.
I would like to add levels and curves to the set of tools available in the local adjustment pane.
I tried to do this both by [right] clicking the tool tab "local adjustments" and adding the tool curves and levels and I also tried creating a floating tool via window - create floating tool before dragging it into the local adjustments. Both these methods added the tools to local adjustments but…
...when I add the curves and levels tool to local adjustments the little brush icon is missing.
The existing tools, say for example white balance are followed by a tiny local adjustments brush icon.
Having added the curves and levels tools when I create a layer and make individual channel adjustments I note it does so globally.
Is it possible to add tools to local adjustments (specifically for todays creativity levels and curves but perhaps others in the future) so I can apply the effects to a layer. How to do this I wonder?

Currently, levels and curves are not available as local adjustments.

What's "local adjustments" referring to? You can add curves and levels to your normal work flow and save it as a template, right?
I am trying to figure out this Capture One software are and it's kind of daunting! 😂0
