Win 7 Pro: Missing DLLs, from Windows Media Player
Hello all:
I have a large and new W7 Pro machine with all other Phase One software installed and running properly. 😄
Downloading and installing Media Pro its fine, but when you run it it cannot start, reporting various DLLs are missing. ☹️
Investigation shows that these are all from Windows Media Player, which was not installed in my particular W7 configuration. In general I avoid any unnecessary MS software.
QUESTIONS: Does Media Pro ASSUME you have Windows Media Player already installed?
Can Media Pro run if JUST the required DLLs are added, without installing the Windows Media player?
If yes, can P1 kindly supply a list of ALL DLLs required that are not in the Media Pro install? And to please provide them?
If NOT, then P1 MUST place a prominent notice on the software page giving this requirement. ❓
With Kind Regards,
