Settings for creating camera profile
I would like to create some custom camera profiles and will be photographing a DC SG colorchecker and creating the profiles using BasICColor Input. My question is what input and output ICC profile should I set in C1 to create the file which will be run in the profiler. If I understand correctly the input ICC profile (I'm shooting tethered) and output profile should be the same to get a "non-color" managed file which would best represent my specific camera under those specific lighting conditions. If that's true would it be best to use something large like ProPhoto RGB? Any advise would be appreciated.
Using Leaf Aptus 75
Capture One 6.2
Tethered to Mac OSX 10.5.8
Thanks,
Robert
OK, found the answer in an old post from 2009. This is what I was looking for but if anyone else with experience has any other ideas let me know:

If you do wish to create your own profiles, in Capture One select "No color correction" from the effect heading for the camera profile (base characteristics) and then embed camera profile as your output profile in the process recipe. That will produce a file with no color management.
