Run Photoshop Action with 'Edit With'

Hi,
Currently running C1 10.2.1

I would like to open photoshop and run a photoshop action on a RAW file(s) using C1 'Edit With'. Ideally I would like to make a selection of RAW files and have the photoshop action run on each one. After the resulting PSDs should be available in C1.

I have successfully run a photoshop action with applescript using 'Open With' by selecting a 'complied applescript application' but it bypasses the C1 RAW engine and instead opens Adobe Camera Raw which I am trying to avoid.

  If you want to bake in the capture one look then you will need to process the file to tif or psd for editing in photoshop. Remember why you are in capture one you are just preview what the edits will look like once you commit then by processing as a tif,psd, jpeg etc
  
  Can I ask why you need to round trip from shop back into capture?

  I understand I need to process the file to psd with 'Edit With' that is what I am asking but in addition to creating and opening the psd, I want to run an photoshop action, save the psd and have it 'import' back into C1 (if that is done already then great).
  
  I have existing actions which I use for batch processing. So ideally a script solution would take all selected raw files, open one psd at a time, allow it to finish, save and close before starting the next.

  Would it work in your environment to create a droplet of the action and use that bundle as your Edit With target application?
  I have done this to great success with a Process Recipe's Open With function.

  Hi,
  Thanks for the reply. Yes a droplet works well and I can run all the PSDs from C1 in a batch which will then be available via 'Open With'. I just wanted to script a way to control it from C1. I had done this with lightroom in the past and wanted to have the same workflow.
