100 spot maximum?

Here is an example.... the spot tool doesn't seem to go beyond 100. Is there a way to do this on multiple adjustment layers maybe so I can keep the spot fixing in CO7? You can see on the tool panel, it just stops at 100, won't go beyond that. Thanks!

It seems there is. I remember from CO6 the same limitation.

Sometimes this is a bummer, but for me only very occasionally.

Might there be an alternative approach using the Skintone adjustment? If so it could save you a lot of "spotting" work.

Just a thought, it might not work for you or might not work in all situations.

Personally I can't imagine attempting 100 spots individually on (potentially) every frame. It would be bad enough with fixing dust spots once to be applied to a series of frames!

Ha! Try doing senior photos! Especially of guy athletes.

Coach, I can imagine the problem. I might need a lot of persuasion to attempt to fix the problem with hundreds of spot removals. The hourly rate would have to be very good indeed. If it was then I might be happy to do a lot if them!

Maybe if C1's conversion (and presumably some other photo processing products as well) seems to be too good in this situation so that the image will have huge numbers of changes applied, it might be worth considering something less accurate? Or, taking a tip from analogue B&W portrait days, use a soft filter?

Or, perhaps, one of those "Cartoonify" type programs? 👿

    😊

I can crank through 100 in no time which is why I was surprised when I hit the wall. Seems like a low threshold. For a typical beauty retouch of a model to get the pores and hairs looking natural and perfect (ironic) there are hundreds & hundreds of small changes and the spot tool is great. Prefer it over photoshop if possible- trying to stay in Capture One as long as I can. C'mon guys... Add a zero! Go for 1000.
